Company history

Steyr-Werner Technischer Handel GmbH has its origins in the 1920s. Right from the beginning, the company has been principally interested in marketing engineering products.
 
Steyr-Werner, in its present form as an engineering dealer, has been in existence since 1972. As the former subsidiary of Steyr Daimler Puch AG, Steyr-Werner passed into private hands with the purchase of the Hild brothers in 1989.
